Obtain Crash Reports

If you were involved in a traffic crash within the city limits of Green Cove Springs and need a copy of the crash   report, you may come to the Police Department at 1001 Idlewild Avenue in Green Cove Springs between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.  You can also call (904) 297-7300 or (904) 529-2220 and ask for the Records Section for instructions on how to obtain a copy by mail.  Crash Reports are also available online at www.buycrash.com.  Crash Reports are offered for sale online only through Buycrash.com, no other e-Commerce vendor or mechanism are authorized to provide Crash Reports for the Green Cove   Springs Police Department.

MOTOR   VEHICLE CRASH INFORMATION IS CONFIDENTIAL AND EXEMPT FROM DISCLOSURE FOR A   PERIOD OF 60 DAYS AFTER THE DATE THE CRASH REPORT IS FILED. FLORIDA STATE   STATUTE 316.066(3)(C). OBTAINING CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION BY SOMEONE WHO   KNOWS THEY ARE NOT ENTITLED TO DO SO IS A FELONY VIOLATION.

Make a Police Report

If you need to make a police report, call the non-emergency line at (904) 297-7300 or (904) 529-2220.   The communications officer will ask you several questions and send a police officer to you.  The alternative is to come to the Police Department at 1001 Idlewild Avenue and ask to speak to an officer.

Obtain General Information

You may also Email the Police Department at info@gcspd.com with specific questions that you want answered, or would like to make general   comments and suggestions about. Clearly state your question or request.  (If you don't state a question or make a request, we may not have enough information to reply.) Your message will be forwarded to the appropriate individuals or departments to answer.

Please give your name, email and postal addresses, and a daytime telephone number - just in case of email failures. In some instances, we can answer your question more easily by calling you.
