Replacing old stormwater pipes and sidewalk along West Street from Walnut Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and building 7,700 linear feet of sidewalk along Highland Avenue from Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. to Idlewild Avenue and along Center Street from Oakridge Avenue to Vermont Street.

Total cost is $2.7 million, with $599,000 in Community Development Block Grant
Current Progress
Waiting for state approval (as part of the funding is tied to a Community Development Block Grant) before going out to bid for construction
Timeline
Anticipate to advertise bid for construction in October and award bid in November 2023. Construction anticipated to start in January 2024, to be completed in Summer 2024.
