Do I Reside in City Limits?
To clarify the City limits for residents, the City has shared essential information to ensure you know whom to contact when reporting an issue or asking a question.
Living within the City limits means:
• Governing Office: The City of Green Cove Springs is your governing office.
• Utilities: Your water, electric, trash, and sewer services are generally provided by the City of Green Cove Springs.
For those living outside the City limits:
• Clay County Services: You are more than likely governed by Clay County and your utility and trash services might be handled by other companies, such as Clay Electric, FCC, or Clay County Utility Authority.
How to Determine if You Live Within the City Limits:
• Navigate: Click on “APPS” then select “Parcels, Zoning, and Future Land Use.”
• Search: The area in red is within the city limits. Type your address in the search bar.
• View: If your address does not show up, abbreviate street (St), avenue (Ave), or road (Rd). Click on your address once it populates.
• Check: Zoom out using the “-“ button at the bottom right to see if your address is inside the red line (City limits). If it’s outside, you are not within the City limits.
How to Determine Who Your Utility Providers Are:
• Confirm Utility Services: If within the city limits, click on the three-rectangle icon at the top left to choose “Water/Sewer Boundary” and “Electric Boundary” to confirm your utilities are handled by the City of Green Cove Springs. If you are outside the lines, please contact your utility providers for issues.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to the City at 904-297-7500.
