Accounting is responsible for the following:

  • Provides financial management and analytical services to support the City’s Capital Improvement Program.
  • The preparation of financial statements and reports relating to annual reports sent to the State Department of Banking and Finance and for the annual audit.  Also included are the City’s tax returns, i.e. sales tax, gross receipts tax, federal regulatory tax, etc.
  • Accounts Payable is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of the City payments.
  • Fixed Assets monitors and records depreciation for purchases and capital assets.
