The Green Cove Springs Police Department's Communications Section handles all emergency and non-emergency calls received by the City. Our Communications Center is the lifeline and central hub of our department, and the communications officers are a vital component to our agency and community. Communications officers are truly "First Responders", as they will be the first people you speak to when calling for help. In 2017, our Communications Section handled over 74,000 different events.
Beginning in August of 2019, the Green Cove Springs Police Department will provide dispatch services for the newly created Clay County District Schools Police Department. The GCSPD is proud of this partnership and we look forward to providing this essential service; doing our part to help protect our county schools and children.
The GCSPD Communications Section is supervised by a Communications Supervisor and is commanded by the Administrative Commander.
Our Communications Center can be reached by dialing:
904-297-7300 or 904-529-2220
Only dial 911 in an emergency.
