Green Cove Springs Utility Non-Disconnection Program ends April 30
Attention City of Green Cove Springs Utility Customers:
City of Green Cove Springs will stop suspending utility disconnections on Thursday, April 30, 2020. While all bills incurred will continue to be owed, the City will go back to the regular delinquent cut-off policy after April 30. In an effort to work with customers needing assistance, City’s Finance Department will work with customers as much as possible to establish payment plans for customers that continue to need financial assistance that were impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. More details on the City’s payment plan can be found on the Payment Agreement Form. Customers will need to talk to Customer Service and complete this form in order to enroll in a payment plan.
Any customers with any questions or concerns about their bills can call the City’s Customer Service Department at 904-297-7500, ext. 3300 or email at customerservice@greencovesprings.com. Customer Service Department is only available by phone or email 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
The City of Green Cove Springs is offering one-time electric utility billing assistance to our customers dealing with the effects of COVID-19.
The City will pay up to $100 towards the electric portion of your past due utility bill. These funds can only be applied to the electric portion of your bill, they cannot be used for water, sewer or trash.
In order to qualify you cannot have been delinquent more than one time in the past twelve months prior to April 1, 2020.
Citizens requesting assistance must complete the COVID-19 Billing Assistance Application.
You will need to fill the form out and either e-mail it back to lgriffin@greencovesprings.com, or drop it off at City Hall or mail it to 321 Walnut Street, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043 Attn: COVID-19 Billing Assistance.
You will be notified if your application is accepted and the credit will appear on the following bill.
