Parks and Recreation Programming

Pickleball

Open sessions for Pickleball occur every Monday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon at Thomas Hogans Memorial Gym. Sessions are taught by Parks and Recreation Programming Director Glee Glisson, and open to both beginning and competitive players. City provides Pickleball equipment. Sign up for each session is on a first-come-first-served basis. 

Yoga

 Yoga class is every Tuesday--starting Jan. 22--from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Spring park Pool Pavilion. Each session lasts five weeks, and costs $45 for the whole session or $9 per session for anyone that wants to just drop into a class. Classes are taught by Andrea Hernandez, owner of Yoga Den in Fleming Island. Participants will need to bring their own yoga mat and water bottle. 

Tai-Chi

Tai-Chi classes will begin Monday, March 4, and will be held 9 a.m. every Monday and Wednesday at the Spring Park Pool Pavilion. The entire session costs $100 and will last six weeks. Classes are taught by Dr. Kam P. Lee, owner of the Kam Lee Center in Orange Park. 

Swim Lessons

More information will be coming soon for swim lessons for Summer 2019. 

Basketball

Open basketball is held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. every day at Thomas Hogans Memorial Gym. This is open to anyone at any skill level to play.

Volleyball

The City beach volleyball court is located in Spring Park, by the public parking lot. It is open to the public year-round. All interested in using the court must bring their own beach volleyball gear to play.
