Accounting

Accounting is responsible for the following:

  • Provides financial management and analytical services to support the City's Capital Improvement Program
  • The preparation of financial statements and reports relating to annual reports sent to the State Department of Banking and Finance and for the annual audit; also included are the City's tax returns, i.e. sales tax, gross receipts tax, federal regulatory tax, etc.
  • Accounts Payable is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of the City payments
  • Fixed Assets monitors and records depreciation for purchases and capital assets
