The patrol function is the backbone of every traditional law enforcement organization, and that is not different here at the Green Cove Springs Police Department. Our Patrol Section officers answer thousands of calls for service yearly. Patrol operates continuously, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A typical call for service can range from a lost/found pet to a violent felony. Rest assured that while you sleep at night or enjoy a holiday off, our officers are out patrolling our streets and keeping you safe.
The GCSPD Patrol Section is supervised by 4 Patrol Sergeants, and falls under the command of the Operations Division Commander.
