City Gall Generator Upgrade
Description: Replace an existing 125 kW diesel generator and 400-amp transfer switch serving City Hall at 321 Walnut St, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043. A 200 kW Yanmar diesel generator and 1200-amp transfer switch have been purchased. Project also includes upgrades to building breaker and motor control centers to enable entire building to be operated on auxiliary generator power.
Budget: Total $184,490, $138,490 covered by a Hazard Mitigation Grant Program grant and $46,000 by the City.
Timeline: Project awarded to Accurate Power & Technology. Generator install work to began mid-October 2025 and was completed on December 31, 2025.
