Chief of Police

As in most municipalities in the State of Florida, the Chief of Police for the Green Cove Springs Police Department is an appointed position. The Chief of Police is hired by the City Manager and confirmed by the members of the Green Cove Springs City Council. This process allows for the City to select only the most qualified personnel for this very vital law enforcement position.
